General Information

  • We are a free recruitment consultancy for teaching positions in the city of Ulsan, South Korea.
  • Teaching position contracts are for a minimum of 12 months.
  • Flights and accommodation are paid for.
  • Wage in excess of £1000 per month.
  • Standard 30hrs per week, Mon-Fri.

Oxford English Provides

  • A free service employment consultancy connecting you with teaching positions in South Korea.
  • Advertisement as a high-quality prospective teacher and connection with established and trusted teaching institutions that will provide you with a good contract.
  • Advice and guidance through all aspects of the application; including your initial application, Visa process, contract acceptance, right through to your arrival in South Korea and beyond.
  • All the information you need, in both electronic and printed form, about South Korea and the city of Ulsan.
  • Contact with the existing teacher network and support groups within Ulsan.
  • Co-ordination of pick-up and transport, to your accommodation, upon your arrival in Korea.

 

Requirements

You must:

  • Be willing to commit for a minimum of 12 months.
  • Be a UK national and have English as your first language.
  • Be a university graduate.
  • Be enthusiastic, open minded and willing to adapt to a foreign culture.
  • Have a genuine desire to teach.
  • Have a TEFL or other teaching qualification (if you do not have this, see the TEFL courses
    section for details on how to obtain one, click here).

English Teacher Placements

  • Flights are provided, free of charge, by the school at the beginning and end of your contract.
  • Accommodation, usually a fully furnished one or two room apartment, will be provided free of charge by the school in or around the city of Ulsan.
  • You will be expected to cover utility bill costs, although these are cheaper than Western prices.
  • 10-15 national holiday days per year, plus an additional amount of holiday days to be determined by the school.
  • Students are usually between the ages of 6 and 18.
  • Generally 30 hours per week working Monday to Friday.

  • Criminal Check £45.00
  • Notarisation & Apostille £80.00
  • International Courier £34 .00

Please note, these prices were correct at the time of writing, and there may be other payments involved such as vaccinations and travel insurance. Payment would be made to the various organizations involved during the application process.
